Browse folders in Explorer and it'll often generate thumbnails, storing them in various caches (Thumbs.db, ehthumbs.db, ehthumbsvista.db, Image.db, Video.db, TVThumb.db, and musicThumbs.db).What's interesting about these thumbnails is that they can live on for quite some time, even if you delete the source files. And so if you've accidentally deleted some important images yourself - or want to see what another user has been viewing - then browsing the cache may reveal all.Thumbs Viewer is a tiny portable tool which can display the contents of any of these caches. Just launch it, click File Open and choose your preferred cache to view its details in a table.Initially this doesn't look too impressive. The table is horribly cryptic, packed with low-level details, checksums, hashes and more.
Sep 06, 2015 Is there any easy way to delete all the Thumbs.db files on my Mac? I know they came from my PC when I transfered everything. But they're so annoying to delete one by one. Thumbnail Database Viewer enables you to view thumbnail cache which is used by Windows to speed up the display of thumbnails in folders (thumbs.db, ehthumbs.db, thumbcache.db files). The cache stores all thumbnails created in a folder even if the original image has been deleted.
It doesn't even list the original file name.Fortunately, if you click an entry in the table, a separate window opens to display it. All you then really need to know is that the most recent images have the highest numbers, and are at the bottom of the table. Click on one of these, and use the cursor keys to scroll up; the preview window updates automatically to show the image, and you can save the current option - or everything in the cache - in a couple of clicks. WhatsApp Messenger is the world's most popular instant messaging app for smartphones. You can use it to send and receive text and voice messages, photos, videos, even call your friends in other countries, and because it uses your phone's internet connection it might not cost you anything at all (depending on whether you'll pay data charges). It's easy to set up and use. There's no need to create and remember new account names or pins because it works with your phone number, and uses your regular address book to find and connect you with friends who use WhatsApp already. You can talk one-to-one or in group chats, and because you're always logged in there's no way to miss messages. Even if your phone is turned off, WhatsApp will save your messages and display them as soon as you're back online. There's plenty more (location sharing, contact exchange, message broadcasting) and the app is free for a year, currently $0.99/ year afterwards. What's New in Version 2.20.22?- New privacy settings allow you to control who can add you to groups.
Admins will have the option of sending you a private invite instead. Go to Settings Account Privacy Groups to get started.- Added call waiting support so you can choose to accept an incoming WhatsApp call while you're already on another call.- You can now send messages directly from the Braille keyboard when using VoiceOver mode.- To reduce data usage, enabling your iPhone’s Low Data Mode will now disable media auto-download in WhatsApp.

WE'VE MOVED TO GITHUB.DB Browser for SQLite is a light GUI editor for SQLite databases, built on top of Qt. The main goal of the project is to allow non-technical users to create, modify and edit SQLite databases using a set of wizards and a spreadsheet-like interface.Note - This project has previous been known as 'SQLite Browser' and 'Database Browser for SQLite'. 'DB Browser for SQLite' will hopefully be the name that sticks.:).
